Computer Science Faculty Receive 2026 Duminuco Award for Assessment Leadership
Prof. Moreira and Prof. Ennaoui were honored for their collaborative work in assessing and fostering the learning of Computer Science students.
Congratulations to Prof. Daniel Moreira and Prof. Karima Ennaoui, who have been named recipients of the 2026 Vincent J. Duminuco, S.J. Award for Assessment Leadership from Loyola University Chicago.
The award recognizes faculty who have engaged in, promoted, and valued the work of assessing student learning. It is rooted in the Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm, which places experience, reflection, and action at the heart of learning, and it reminds educators that questioning and improving their own teaching is part of that cycle.
Prof. Moreira and Prof. Ennaoui were honored for their collaborative work in assessing and fostering the learning of Computer Science students. They are among this year's recipients from across the university, alongside faculty from Theatre, Physics, and Engineering.
"I am honored to be among the recipients," said Prof. Moreira, adding that he is grateful to share the distinction with Prof. Ennaoui.
