The Department of Computer Science at Loyola is delighted to welcome Dr. TaiNing Wang as a tenure-track Assistant Professor. With her impressive academic background and expertise in database systems and data analytics, Dr. Wang brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the department.

Dr. Wang completed her Bachelor's and PhD degrees in Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. Throughout her academic journey, she has demonstrated exceptional research skills and a deep commitment to advancing the field of computer science. As a researcher, Dr. Wang's primary focus lies in database systems, query processing and optimization, data management, data sampling, and data analytics. Her contributions to the field have been recognized through publications in prestigious conferences and journals, including IEEE ICDE, ACM SIGMOD, IEEE CloudCom, and Future Generation Computer Systems. These publications highlight her dedication to conducting high-quality research and exploring innovative solutions to complex data-related challenges.
