Interdisciplinary Student Project in Cybersecurity at Loyola University Chicago
Project Title: Spreading Misinformation on Social Media and its Consequences for Trust in Government and Cybersecurity
The Dr Scholl Foundation awarded a $50,000 grant to an interdisciplinary team at Loyola University Chicago.
The team is composed of Dr. Chan-Tin from Computer Science, Dr. Abuhamad from Computer Science, Dr. Stalans from Criminal Justice & Criminology, Dr. Forestal from Political Science, and Dr. Huntsinger from Psychology. Students will be involved in this research project examining misinformation on social media.
